| 182883 | 2003-10-13 22:21:00 | I am in a bit of trouble, every blank inserted in my cd rom shows up as a music cd and my music player even trys to play them, I can not burn data on them, if I do you can't use them. I have incd and Nero software. Can Anyone help me please. Wayne |

| 182884 | 2003-10-13 23:41:00 | What Operating System are you running? Right click on the cd drive, and select properties, then change some settings in the autoplay tab. You would be looking for 'blank cd'. I'm guessing that it might be set to open with Windows Media Player. Otherwise if that doesn't work, get TweakUi, and turn the autoplay off. Are you running XP? I would try turning the windows inbuilt cd burner off. |

| 182887 | 2003-10-14 10:47:00 | Ahh yep, right click on the cd-rw drive in My Computer, in the recording tab, uncheck 'Enable Cd Recording on this drive'. You can still burn with your favourite burning program, that just turns off the Windows one. Also, get TweakUi, and in the 'special folders' settings, change the 'Cd Burning' folder to somewhere on the drive that you will never ever use. |
