I run task scheduler for critical tasks overnight, but also as I am in a commercial environment, I have to have windows on automatic update. And I am finding quite frequently that updates cause the task scheduler not to run -- it requires (usually) new password entries, having apparently forgotten the previous password. Sometimes I have to completely reinstall the scheduled task. Last problem was a fix to media player on or about 6 October. Is anyone else pained by this feature? Has anyone got a fix?
