2003-10-16 01:16:00 One small problem ... do you want to pay what that costs? Graham L (2)
2003-10-16 01:17:00 I'm sure I read that story about 2-3 months ago?? CYaBro (73)
2003-10-16 01:50:00 i thought high demand would lower costs ;) csinclair83 (200)
2003-10-16 02:49:00 Seems incredible as by my reckoning 5.5Gbps = 687.5MB / sec which is faster than trabsferring from one hard disk to another, so does that mean there is a lag to write the data because your HD is too slow? I wonder what hardare they were using. parry (27)
2003-10-16 02:56:00 if it ever gets out to the public...wonder what would happen to dvds. music..everyone would just be downloading like crazy csinclair83 (200)
2003-10-16 03:35:00 That will have been on the new research Internet ... and there are probably about 100 hosts on that Internet. For it to work the way they want it ... it will have to stay with limited access. A few million people moving movies on it wiould make it useless. And bandwidth costs money. Big bandwidth costs big money. Graham L (2)
