183560 2003-10-15 12:25:00 Mozilla 1.4.1 was released the other day.

Today we have Firebird 0.7, Thunderbird 0.3 and Mozilla 1.5 out.

183561 2003-10-15 19:31:00 Thanks JM :)

I see Mozilla Firebird (www.mozilla.org) has done some redecorating of their site.

183563 2003-10-15 20:05:00 Installed Mozilla over the top and all seems fine, haven't looked for anything different from RC2.

Just did a full wipe out of Mozilla Firebird and installed the new one. The first thing I noticed was the mass of new easily adjustable features, such as smoothscrolling without having to go in via the back way to adjust it. Also it now appears to have a cookie white/black list (not fully sure on it though) which will be very handy to use. As well as now having autoscroll (http://autoscroll.mozdev.org/) built into it. That is that much loved by IE users feature whereby you can middle click and have the browser autoscroll for you.

183564 2003-10-15 20:51:00 I think the header on the new site sums it up nicely:
The best browser bar none!

Mozilla Firebird and Mozilla are browsers.
- Mozilla includes an email client suite as a all-in-one package.
- Mozilla Firebird is a stand-alone browser

Thunderbird is a email client. It is meant to be complementary to Firebird, but remains as a separate program.

If you are just looking for a new (and fabulous :D) browser, I suggest you take a look at Mozilla Firebird. It will exist very happily side-by-side with Internet Explorer, and you can have both running at the same time with no problems.

Also I will add that Firebird is not to bad of an e-mail client as well :)
