| 183516 | 2003-10-15 07:28:00 | Hi i recently Got this new hardware on my system ,i unstiall it but it keeps coming back how do i get rid of it so windows dosen't auto detect it i know what it is for ,eg lan highspeed which i don't use So id appreaciate it if u told me...,Sorry for bad language mistakes ,cheers! i am on windows xp if that helps |

| 183517 | 2003-10-15 07:53:00 | If you keep uninstalling the driver, Windows will just keep reinstalling a default native driver for it each time you boot up the machine. If you do not want to use it, just go into Control Panel > System. Click on the hardware tab and then the device manager button. Scroll down until you see "network adapters" and click on the + to expand it. Your Realtek card should be listed. Just right-click on that and select "disable". Otherwise remove the card from the case. |
