183447 2003-10-15 00:05:00 Im at a clients place (And will be tomorrow also)

Just trying to figure out how to setup a server on one of the client PC's.

We figured we'd try googling, but dont know the router info.

They think its a Nokia of some sort. I can get into the web admin interface if I can tell from there, but all the number that are pysically on it dont bring up any results in google :-(

Any ideas?

Cheers

183448 2003-10-15 02:35:00 Does it have a Web Based interface?
Most companies will brand the website setup with Nokia M1122 Router Setup...
Are you sure that it doesn't have an FCC on it somewhere?

183449 2003-10-15 02:35:00 If it was a Cisco, there would be two ways to find out: 1) look at the ouside of the box, or 2) start it with a console plugged in, and watch the screen as it boots. :D Then all the information is either on the CD or available on-line. (Though these books tend to be 1000+ pages :O)

Didn't the client keep the book (or CD, these days) which came with it ? Why not? :_|

Try the Nokia home site. They may have signs warning spiders to stay out, and Google comply with that.

183450 2003-10-15 02:40:00 Nope, no FCC or anything...
There's the Dynalink logo on it....

No CD's or anything sorry :-(

183451 2003-10-15 02:44:00 Done a lil googl'ing with half the numbers on the thing and AFAIK its a Dynalink RTA020 Router...

If it is, how do I go about setting it up to route traffic on certain ports to PC XYZ's IP Addy?

183452 2003-10-15 02:49:00 Port scan.. :p
For starters I'd hit Dynalinks website and download the manuals for it (beware that it is an unsupported - aka Old - router if I recall correctly..)
Then I'd read it.. (yep! :D)
And that should tell you everything you need to know
