Except it isn't a email client :D

Think you meant Thunderbird - which is a very nice email client. :)

183571 2003-10-16 01:19:00 So: "as non-email clients go it's a pretty good email client" :D Graham L (2)
183572 2003-10-16 01:25:00 so Firebird is just Mozilla, without the email thing?

Because I have Mozilla, but never use its email.

Should I just get Firebird then?

Yes - It is a fabulous browser, and if you liked Mozilla then you will love Mozilla Firebird :D

Don't forget to check out the extensions available (I always get Tabbrowser extensions & Tabbrowser preferences). You can visit the website and download/auto-install them via the Tools > Option.

183574 2003-10-16 01:44:00 One other thing to add, is that if you start eyeing up some of those lovely themes for Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird, you better have a read of this (forums.mozillazine.org) first.

I have just been caught out with a now non-compatible Firebird theme - being trying to figure out for the last 20 minutes why I can't add a new bookmark. Hopefully the theme developers can sort this out quickly.

183575 2003-10-16 01:46:00 Firebird and Thunderbird will eventually become the new Mozilla suite apparently.... Chilling_Silently (228)
183576 2003-10-16 08:50:00 Hate to break up this Mozilla fest, but how would you rate Firebird with Opera 7.21?????? Bye the way I go Thunderbird all the way. My IQ is not high enough for Operas' M2!! Rod ger (316)
183577 2003-10-16 09:41:00 I prefer both Mozilla and Firebird to Opera, I used to be an Opera fan a few years back though. -=JM=- (16)
183578 2003-10-16 09:48:00 Thanks for that news JM, I'm downloading the new Firebird version now .

Also to Jen for the info on compatible skins .

> how would you rate Firebird with Opera 7 . 21??

Opera is very good but personally I still prefer Firebird . Old habits die hard I guess . Try both and then just use whatever suits you . Or use both . Either one is better than Internet Explorer . ;-)

183579 2003-10-16 10:06:00 I guess Firbird renders better, but I'm really impressed with the speed of the two latest versions of Opera. Rod ger (316)
