| 183316 | 2003-10-18 04:52:00 | ok pc man been in twice..... first test found nothing..... but found floppy was not reading his floppy at all...... so he went home and copyied to my floppy and its reading now? but first hdd test found no problems.both the short and the long.. so we are doing another two tests (another 3hrs worth) and we will see from there ..... man of few words he is (and he's dealling with beetle .. :p who has a vast vocabulary....:D) but he is not happy as its not finding anything he expected but he's not one to elaborate so am not sure what he means by this..... but he feels i should still have a warranty issue with the company dealing with pc co puters..... and he also said what he feels pc stands for...... any guess's :D ? lol so anint that just a bunch of roses to prick you then huh? beetle |

| 183319 | 2003-10-19 22:52:00 | im sorry to bring this up again but im trying to sort out in mind what else may be causing these probllems with the S O B of a puter, peice of C i have in my house Why it is doing or not doing what it should.. XP home pc comp (just in case you forgot) power surged in June? mother board replaaced hdd test says no probs but it is shutting progs and lagging or non responsive. mouse goes or not goes at times at will - scrolling down the page its like the page hit something so it stops and mouse stops ? get lots of IE error shutting progs. (which means loss of info) and slow to start, and this fortnight? been reformatted, could add more but cant remember at moment.... any other ideas? could it be a virus? i have AVG, Adaware, and mailwasher and i update regularly, any help or ideas would be really appreciated, and yes BT i will ghost when fixed.... :D beetle |

It will self extract, and then you can run the extracted "HiJackThis" program. Press the Scan button, and Show Log. Copy and paste the log back here. It shows all running processes, and allows us to look at the programs running and suggest things. If something needs fixing, you can rerun the program at any time and put a tick in the box beside any item, it will prevent it from running again. |
