She faced it all and she stood tall; She did it her way. Ode to beetle :D (With overdue apologies to Frank Sinatra) Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 183407 | 2003-11-21 02:30:00 | Just been speaking to another friend who is not very good around electronic machinery. Their partner has a laptop that runs fine until he uses it. Then it crashes all the time and he's not doing anything that his partner doesn't do. Also whenever he uses his Nokia cell phone it locks up quite often but not when anyone else uses it! ?:| |

| 183411 | 2003-11-22 06:57:00 | So glad you aked beetle . QUANTUM FOAM Many physicists believe that space is composed of an ever-changing arrangement of bubbles or loops called quantum foam It can be shown that vibrations produced by the foam are almost within range of detection with modern gravitational-wave interferometers . The quantum foam scenario is consistent with (professor) Hawking's estimate of black hole lifetime and the theoretical bound on the amount of information that can be stored in a spatial region . It can also be shown that clock precision and bounds on computation are related to black hole and quantum foam physics . This simple picture links together some of the concepts of information, gravity, and quantum uncertainty, with the effects on inanimate objects caused by one named beetle , from Wanganui . |
