| 183518 | 2003-10-15 09:39:00 | Help! Something awful has happened! I can't get rid of Cyberpatrol (content filter) and Xtra who I pay for it say they can't/won't help me . I suspect the problem relates to my dual-booting C drive for XP and D drive for W 98 (it only runs on W98 so I have specifically loaded the OS for the kids) . I have followed the fax they supply (which only relates to a c drive) and now and left without the full programme, but a persistent "Internet access diabled by cyberpatrol" which blocks dialling out and loading any webpage . I note that the start list of programmes shortcuts point to programmes on the C [XP] drive . . . not D where W98 lives . Any suggestions as to A] Solutions, or B] Who might be able to assist sort out this mess . As a bonus my XP net connection is really erratic and I wonder if it has nuked that as well . Xtra seem happy to wash their hands . . . not impressed . Many many thanks! |
