| 184127 | 2003-10-17 08:22:00 | Hi Beetle, What a frustration. Maybe this thought will assist. I notice some users say that they have saved something (like music or other) in Win Media Player, or Winamp, or whatever. Not so. These files, music or others are not saved in those players, but on your hard drive, or maybe a CD-R/RW. Sure the player may have a path to access the file by way of a playlist. When you have time, check out the "File associations" FAQ as mentioned above. They determine which application will open/run/play a particular file, but you can change that. In addition, it is most useful to become familiar with the setup of your files/folders on the drives, and so find, change, move, copy, delete, etc. Do you use the Windows Explorer program? I guess so after your experience with using PC's. If not it's worth trying it, & learning from the help option there. Best wishes Beetle.. |
