184436 2003-10-18 08:08:00 That program is usually run from a boot disk, which will mean it doesn't have any drivers or anything for accessing your printer.

When you reboot your PC after the test has completed, have a look on the floopy and see if the tester saved a log file (it may have asked you if it wanted to do this)

This log file should contain all the test results.

184437 2003-10-18 08:14:00 oh ok yes its running by floppy.
so if i hit exit it may say log file or some such thing and i can say yes..then.?

may have asked before or may ask now at end? i dont remember it asking but it would be good if it does now then i can say its ok or its bad on paper for him......

Don't know, I can't hear a thing?

Does it want a coffee perhaps .

If you are wondering what A:\> means, thats different .

It means the computer is logged onto A: drive, currently not doing anything, would really like a sleep and is wondering why you have not taken the disk out, kissed it good night and held its little power switch in for a few seconds, or briefly, whichever it takes to turn it off .

The above assumes it was booted from the disk . To be sure though, type exit and press Enter .

If it does not understand, then do the above .

If it does understand, its now back in Windows . Close it down normally .

I thinjk it will be the former though .
