| 184401 | 2003-10-18 04:39:00 | Hi. I've got my first laptop and want to copy some of my files from my home computer to the laptop. Home computer = P3; OS = ME. Laptop runs XP Prof. I've bought a crossover cable. My problem: Does it make a difference which end of the crossover cable is plugged into the computer or laptop? Any suggestions to help this novice? | 184405 | 2003-10-18 07:37:00 | you only have a problem if you have a computer that runs win 95. as u have ME 2 XP you won't have a prob. 1 piece of advice though, use xp's network setup wizard. te wizard also lets u them use each others CD/DVD drives. | Megaman (344) | ||
