OK, well I have already confessed that my imagination is zilch, so maybe you'd care to enlighten me?

Interesting - that is something that's definitely changed recently :)

I checked the settings on my other Yahoo account and it says that I am able to use the POP access from Yahoo because I'm signed up with yahoo delivers (I signed up with that, but unticked ALL the boxes, so I've NEVER received one of those emails), so I created a new email address and signed up for yahoo delivers, but the POP access wasn't available, just because I signed up using .com rather than something else.

Very odd.

Mike.

Nope, it changed about 2 years ago for . com addresses, even those signed up for "Yahoo Delivers" were removed from POP access .

For other domains it may have lasted longer, or indeed still be going, but . com addresses were changed a very long time ago .
