184383 2003-10-18 03:28:00 Photoshop 6 doesn't work properly on my computer anymore. Whnever I try to select an object or fire up a filter I get a program error and it'll freeze my computer. Someone please help me, i miss my Photoshop.

And I've tried uninstalling then installng again.

184384 2003-10-18 03:53:00 What version of Windows are you running? Have you tried a System Restore to before the problem began?

When did you notice it started - after installing or removing another program? Have you been fiddling on the computer recently?

More details would help.....

184385 2003-10-18 04:03:00 I'm running 98SE and I can't really recall when it started doing this. Mainly because I only just started wanting to use it...

And i haven't been fiddling on the computer lately either...

184386 2003-10-18 04:39:00 "I get a program error"

If you post the exact error message (spelling and syntax are important) it would help in allowing people to search databases for a solution for you.

184388 2003-10-19 22:35:00 Mystickskye,

You could try the advice on the Adobe site Frequent Errors or Crashes When Using Photoshop (www.adobe.com) and see if that helps.

Cheers, Babe.

184389 2003-10-21 03:34:00 some addons filters etc can cause problems uninstall it and delete the folder then do a clean using regcleaner and washandgo may need to try reinstalling Dx8 and your graphics drivers etc Its for this reason that I keep a image of my C: drive as a backup so it only take 15 mins or so to restore my PC as was a month ago etc kiwibeat (304)
