184910 2003-10-19 23:07:00 This is the Win 98SE computer, isn't it?

Just wondering if it might be due for a format and reinstall, considering that you have problems with another program as well. Yes, it is a bit drastic but when did it last have one?

184911 2003-10-20 00:31:00 Erm, never. Not on this hard drive anyway. And also because I don't keep the install programs of lots of utilities...

I tried installing windows on another hard drive and it screwed up royally. As in, freezes each time you log in.

184912 2003-10-20 01:35:00 Are you sure you uninstalled WMP?

I was always told WMP was a part of the operating system and could not be uninstalled by it'self.

184913 2003-10-20 03:55:00 Have you tried running a registry cleaner? RegCleaner ( . majorgeeks . com/download . php?det=460" target="_blank">www . majorgeeks . com) is a good free one to try .

Remember to do a backup of your registry first, just in case .
