| 185245 | 2003-10-21 05:18:00 | Jim B is correct in saying that Paradise are for ISP related only, although they will help you set up your web browser to a point where if it's problematic, you'll have to turn to MS, MSN chat is not considered part of ISP related, you'd have to call MS and tell them they are slack. The problem Amazon, is the more calls Para gets that are out of their league soon they'll have to say Free Help is costing too much that they'll have to charge, and all those people who called about the irrelevant things we could blame because they have now cost all the other users, so unless you know it's an ISP related thing, don't call them. Who knows, they may get too many ISP related problems as well and say it's time to make money from it. You never know in business... I also think Jim B could have been a bit nicer about it, is there anything wrong with wanting most things free? Welcome to PressF1... hope you like our service |

| 185247 | 2003-10-21 18:19:00 | Thank you to everyone who has tried to help with this problem, I appreciate it...unfortunately I have been unable to sort it...there must be remnants of the old one causing problems in the registry, which is way above me! Looks like the only way is to do a clean reinstall of 98SE, which is a pretty drastic move, isn't it? |
