| 185531 | 2003-10-21 22:00:00 | Am using winxp.. i want to set up a "guest" user but only have them able to access the internet (browser and connecting to net), and microsoft word and games, nothing more...no outlook, no other programs or anything... is this possible? if yes...can you tell me how :-) ALSO is there any free log on changers as i want to change the background/style of the log on screen...as the xp one is boring...and i've done this before but by cracking a program but i got rid of it so yeah is there any free ones around? that are simple to use....i dont mind if i cant make my own log on screen but as long i can change the xp one with some already made one that i can download then thats cool wif me... i'm using winxp home and have admin rights... :-) Cheers |

If you can wait until the weekend I might be able to answer (else someone else might be able to do it before then). I suspect it'll take a lot of fiddling with security settings. Mike. |
