| 185477 | 2003-10-21 19:06:00 | Hi, I have just installled Mozilla Firebird 0.7. after reading that alot of you here gave it good reviews. I like it so far & similar to Opera. I've noticed that some of the extensions won't work unless you have 0.6 or less or got the extensions before August. Is Firebird tied up with Windows? I ask this because the little Icon thingee (when you have a page opened) is the same as the one on the start button. Thanks Pauline. |

That may be because the writers of the extensions have not quite caught up yet. Some of the skins are also not yet compatible. Hopefully the extensions and skins will be rewritten for the latest version soon. > Is Firebird tied up with Windows? No, not at all. If anything it is related more to Netscape. What version of Windows are you using? I have noticed that Windows 98 shows a Windows icon on the taskbar although I am not sure why this is the case. With Windows XP it shows the Firebird icon. Perhaps other people have noticed the same. |
