| 185442 | 2003-10-22 00:13:00 | You may be thinking of the guide which Australian PC put out. They first sold it as a small book, with CDs. The PDF version was put on one of their cover CDs a while ago. That RUTE book (which is available as a real book too :D) is excellent. The Linux Cookbook is also worth downloading. You'll find that with google. |

| 185443 | 2003-10-22 05:38:00 | The was also another Linux guide available on the APC magazine (Issue - 288, December 2002) cover disk called Linux Pocketbook 2003 which you may be thinking of. This e-book appears to be exclusive to APC so a google search didn't throw up any download sites. The pdf file is 4.8 MB in size, however using Bzip2 I can compress it to 3.3 MB if you want me to email it to you (if you have a fast internet connection that is :)) Let me know if you are interested. |
