185381 2003-10-21 05:40:00 Put your linux cd in and boot to it or (and I don't know RH), on a normal boot by choosing the option from your boot loader.

185384 2003-10-21 07:39:00 YOu don't have to be in any directory. But you do need to know the device number:

Master on channel 1 = hda
Slave on channel 1 = hdb
Master on channel 2 = hdc
Slave on channel 2 = hdd.

So your command would be (for example) fdisk /dev/hdb.

Hi, well I've finished the Lab, so time for another attempt, however I still think I need to be in the directory that fdisk is located in (which ever that is); anyway her's the error I get.

[root@localhost /]# fdisk /dev/hdc
bash: fdisk: command not found

What do you suggest?

:8} I see, (head makes contact with brick wall :p), though it 'should' be installed as I did tell the installer to install "everything", unless of course fdisk dosent ship as standard anymore, also is there any way to get access to the disk druid software that you use during setup, as that was easy enough to use?
