| 185332 | 2003-10-21 01:04:00 | The problem is i don't know what the video card is. It is a friends comp and it has no drivers. is there a downloadable tool that can figure out what it is or do i have to open it up and have a look? WinXP celeron 1800 256 mg ram It is also missing the audio drivers. windows recognizes they are both there but doesn't tell me what they are. they both have the yellow ! beside them |

Make sure you use anti static protection and don't touch the parts or the circuitry on the card itself . Look on the from for an Identifying brand name and then on the back for any kind of model no etc . try entering the model number into a google search and see what comes up . Is it a seperate video card and audio card or are they on board (Ie . they don't have a card in a slot) If they are on board devices then the drivers will be on the Motherboard CD . If they are cards then you'll have to find out what card s they are before you can get the right drivers for them . |
