| 185776 | 2003-10-22 19:37:00 | Good morning, Trillian + MSN I have just uploaded and installed Trillians latest upgrade 0 . 74f . I'm running it on Win98se with no problems at all . I also have a machine with XP home, norton internet security (with firewall), and norton AV, for some reason Trillian keeps logging on,off,on,off . Have done a manual logon and comes up with connection already present . The first time I used it was great but from then on custard . Used msn messenger with no probs on same machine . Disabled auto startup of messenger but is still loaded in background . Have disabled from task list but Trillian still has connection problems . Any suggestions welcome Phar |

| 185777 | 2003-10-22 22:21:00 | From my investigations last week it appears that the Trillian 0.74f is having a few issues with MSN unfortunately but not everyone is affected. I suggest that you uninstall Trillian, ensuring that everyone is removed and reinstall. You could possibly download and install the full 0.74f version rather than the upgrade patch to see if that helps. | tommy (2826) | ||

That said, I notice the official MSN software, which I occasionally use at home, and always use at work drops the connection fairly regularly, at least a couple of times per hour. Perhaps the problem is with the entire MSN9 protocol. |
