| 185657 | 2003-10-22 07:38:00 | Hi Team I've got a curly one for you tonight. ?:| Are there any muso's around or anybody into composing? No 1 daughter has been given a floppy with music files created by Sibelius, but since Sibelius costs thousands, all we have available here is Finale, the poor man's version of Sibelius. :( We need to read/convert from Sibelius format (sib) to Finale (mus) if we can. These are not straight music files, they are musical scores that can be printed out and/or played back during or afer composition. Any ideas as to how we can listen to them without buying Sibelius? Cheers Billy 8-{) :| |

Unfortunately there is a moderate cost involved so it will be a longer term solution rather than a one-off conversion download, but it gives access to Sibelius files in Finale and allows work done in Finale to be transferred to Sibelius. What more could anybody ask. :D Funny thing though, I searched extensively and this didn't appear for me. I'd love to know what your search terms were. ?:| Cheers Billy 8-{) :) |

| 185661 | 2003-10-22 09:34:00 | Yes there is a trial Murray, but if I read it correctly, the module for Finale to Sibelius has a 30 day trial, but the Sibelius to Finale module does not. Protecting the product :( Cheers Billy 8-{) :| |
