| 186328 | 2003-10-24 21:06:00 | Hi everyone: Long time, no see! My computer boots from Floppy. How do I change it to boot from CD, as I have a Knoppix disc I would like to have some fun with! OS is Windows ME Baldy :-) |

Depending upon what BIOS version you have, you will need to look for the "Boot Order" selection. Using the up down arrows, change the order to: 1. Floppy 2. CD-ROM 3. Hard drive Note, the actual way your BIOS describes the device may be a little different, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Don't forget to save the changes when you exit out of BIOS. Then simply insert the bootable CD and restart the PC and it should boot from it. |
