Here's the URL for any interested: MSN 6.1 Final on Microsoft.com (www.microsoft.com) Sadly coz its only Just been released, I cant find anything to remove the ads yet :-( Enjoy Chill. BTW - Yes, 6.1 Final release is right even though messenger.xtramsn.co.nz still says 6.0 is the latest! |

Thanks, PJ Hello Pj I think it is just a bug fix & to fix a few other issues, but they do not say much on the messenger websites :(, so I cannot really say... Some one else might be able to throw some light on this update…. |

| 186125 | 2003-10-24 23:41:00 | As far as I can tell, it will work with some versions of MSN 6.0.. but Im not sure about 6.1 (I actually run Linux and so dont have MSN handy to test it out on). If you're keen to try that hex editing then that should still work regardless of version! To see your exact MSN version, Click Help, and then About (On the main Contacts List window) and you should have something like 6.1.0.135 as an example :-) Cheers Chill. |

| 186127 | 2003-10-27 17:22:00 | well a few weeks ago msn 2.2 was my weapon of choice ! cant use it now. they emailed me 15x to tell me to upgrade,i ignored.trillian non functional now for msn. im such a luddite-had a 133mhz with msn 2.2 running win 95a and ms works for typing... those days are gone. BOYCOTT MSN switch to icq everyone! u can use icq2go even,java icq... ive got Yahoo and ICQ now ,msn EVIL EVIL i tell u ,when ur FORCED to upgrade,u know its time to move on! *go the luddites* |
