186012 2003-10-23 21:27:00 Since purchasing new PC's with XP pre-loaded, we now have to enter our email password(s) every time we open Outlook Express. This is probably a pretty good security feature, but we're trusting souls in this office and find it much more of a drag than a help. We didn't experience it under WIN 98, but do on the machines under XP, so I'm picking it's an XP issue rather than an Outlook Express issue. How do I get rid of this dialogue box? I've got it set up to "remember password", but it still prompts for the password. It only happens on Outlook Express, IE6 opens without any prompts. XP is not set up for multiple accounts and boots straight to the desktop without any password prompts... RaucousDave (4768)
