I think that I am frequently paranoid but got to say that comparatively speaking (after looking at some comments) am much less so than I thought I was. The good folks at PC World provide us with a very good service and I, for one, certainly trust them. :D B-) PS - Still checking as to what has happened while have been away (in Europe) for 4 1\2 wks. Lots of general stuff - any gems ? |

| 186258 | 2003-10-25 23:59:00 | well i normaly get 200 a day in hotmail of spam... but given it a limit of 300 before i say it is a increase and it hasnt even gone 10 over or 10 under 200 for quite a while... once it has gone to 400...yes in 1 day... and even if some of themc ould be personal emails i just delete the whole lot of them... i just wish the hotmail block address didnt have a limit of 150 addresses... |

I was a bit disappointed in the old PressF1 running Lotus/Domino and discovering that a computer help forum didn't keep updated with patches that were released. The exploit in the Lotus server was the ability to see the actual email addresses of the person sending the message, although they never had to login, some people used their correct email address. At the time I was going to inform PressF1 of this, but I had difficulty tracking down a contacts page, I wasn't going to post it in the forum either, because I have little trust in people online. If I do use my correct email? Is their guarantee that this forum will be able to keep my email address away from prying eyes? I did create a spam address but it got too packed that it was beyond checking anymore. |
