| 186230 | 2003-10-24 08:20:00 | Hi, My PC restarts itself once every few days, it is usually when I am burning a cd. It has happened about four times in the past month, but has happened twice in the last 2 days. My pc is about 8 months old and has only the 300w psu that came with the relativle cheap case (about $50) could this be the source of the problem? I am faily sure that I do not have the blaster (or any other) worm as I patched my OS when the virus first came out. Specs are: AMD Athlon XP 2200+ 1024 ddr ram gforce 4 ti4200 Asus 40x12x48 cd-r Samung dvd 80gig baracuda Do I need a larger power supply, or is my one just an el cheap o psu thats dying? |
