2013-07-14 00:58:00 | Dunno what happened to my story but, just formatted my computer, ITUNES had to be re installed, I have signed in under my username but my library is empty. How to safely back up the Ipad without apps disappearing? | mark1978 (13845) | |
2013-07-14 01:25:00 | Did you do a backup of your My music folder before formatting? | ronyville (10611) | |

2013-07-14 01:36:00 | OK.. when yo connect the ipad to the PC, and on the itunes, under the iPad section, it there should be a option to say backup. Not talking about syncing the iPad to itunes. | ronyville (10611) | |
2013-07-14 01:38:00 | I have seen that but doesn't do anything, if I go to books for example and tick that books need to be synced it then drains all the apps on the IPAD. lol.. | mark1978 (13845) | |
2013-07-14 01:47:00 | Yup, that's why i asked if you had done a backup. All the sync settings sit in the itunes folder. If you had a backup than copying the old itunes folder back into the music library would have kept all the sync settings as before. But looks like you might have to start from scratch here... maybe someone else may have a better solution. | ronyville (10611) | |
