| 1325270 | 2013-01-28 23:13:00 | Today morning I called them up again & said I'd like to speak to the owner. The lady there told me " Oh u are the same woman from yesterday, hold on". I held on for 7mins. & put the phone down. I won't call them again. Nocowboys, also FINDA website are good places to put feedback about companies. Stick to the facts, they do get moderated. This one is a combination of Technical help and member's rants...LOL. So while it gives you satisfaction to vent, it won't make them care. FINDA and so on will. Do they have a TRademe Services listing? For tradesmen it's the first place I look, cause they have feedback. Sort by most reviews and you get a good idea of the good versus bad services people. In fact go look now, you might find a good one for your problem. |

| 1325273 | 2013-01-28 23:23:00 | Thanku I appreciate ur help. I guess I was ranting at my luck/faith bec I had the same problem when I renovated my house --- we were made to look like fools by these builders who created havoc for us, though we got it sorted out at the Tribunal. I guess we are down on luck at the moment.... | Delna (17001) | ||

And we do read everything :-) That and there's a few of us too so we've got our bases covered. We're like Santa Claus, we're always watching, even though you can't see us ;) 4711 My thoughts too :D |

| 1325277 | 2013-01-29 07:18:00 | Hi prefect, I assume you're referring to me there? :-) I assure you that whether I'm considering this OP, comments and experiences with Wainuitech's posts about Norton in AV threads, Gary67's recent comment on the "techy in Picton" thread, or any other post in the forums that could be considered "slanging off at a business", I evaluate it on several criteria. I have to do training in defamation law as part of my job. Judgement about a post like this falls under that - I have to decide whether, as publisher, it is acceptable, or would cause unjustified damage to the business in question. To do that, I assess whether the comments are specific, whether they are true, whether it's an honestly held opinion, and what imputations a reader would take from that post and the thread as a whole about the business in question. While the initial post in and of itself was troubling, it referred only to a single missed appointment and the OPs frustration therein. In addition, the responses have, I think, resulted in a thread that is balanced and look at things from the business' point of view. Hence: OK. If this became more common in the forums, however, I would clamp down on it. I have, on occasion, been asked by a business to remove older posts (like 2007 and before) that feature too highly in Google searches, so I weight that in my decision too. I hope that helps. You're welcome to ask for clarification if any future post gives you concerns. Huh what did I do wrong now? |
