1325362 2013-01-28 21:30:00 :banana Never used to watch it, but then we started, the British versions are good :clap, but totally agree the US and Aussie ones just don't cut it.

The British seem to have a knack of good TV programs ( mostly)
Possibly their humour?

1325363 2013-01-28 21:36:00 I may have *ahem* watched it last night, very good to have them back on air. I think a little rusty but that will improve.

I may have also accidently watched it. Doesnt James May now look much older than he actually is ??
Clarkson is in good form, one of their funnier episodes.

Ever 'accidently' watched(downloaded) the Mythbusters, only to find out its the UK version, with a God Awefull UK running commentary?

Yup, the UK airings have a british dude narrating instead of the US dude Robert Lee.

1325365 2013-01-28 21:54:00 7 days is a lot less than most shows. I doubt a 7 day wait would cause people to pirate it

It's 2013 not the 1960's. We shouldn't have to wait when it's possible to see it at either the exact same time or at least the same day.

That's what Crunchyroll does - so many Japanese anime fans were subtitling series and uploading the fansubs that Japanese anime creators took things into their own hands, and now offer within-the-hour professionally subtitled episodes. That is, it shows in Japan, in Japanese, and within an hour, the show is on Crunchyroll.com, subbed into English. Such a great idea. Free with ads, or $6.95 for ad-free. I'd love to see more TV programs take that sort of initiative. Price things reasonably, and serve the public, and they'll flock to it.

That's a great idea, a shame it hasn't been done more.
