| 1349173 | 2013-07-17 05:27:00 | Don't think that link is going to work will look into it be right back win 8 explorer 10 will not save passwords and if it does they will go when I turn off (settings/power/shift key+restart) seems to be a fault some where going by when I g00gle it. Also I see when I go to Internet Options/programs/manage add-ons toolbars extentions (as thats what a couple of sites said when I g00gled) I see that every thing there says 32 bit where the comp is 64 bit ?? answers.microsoft.com 4b83de86-4eb5-4af7-858e-fbcbd6743ec3 (sorry don't no how to put in a short-cut link) What does "if you close IE in Modern UI" mean ?? where do you find it ?? if it is "IT" Some where it says about a registry setting I don't no how to do it and there has been nothing said about it working !! Gotta go to work now so thank for looking and any answers, as I will not be up till midday. |

| 1349174 | 2013-07-17 05:39:00 | It looks like Windows 8 installs the 32 and 64 bit version of IE. But to use 64 bit IE, (in desktop mode), protected mode needs to be ticked under internet options / security tab. To get 64 bit tabs. If protected mode isnt ticked it'll use 32 bit tabs. (Something to do with compatibility). IE may save passwords for some sites, but not all. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
