| 186480 | 2003-10-25 05:35:00 | I had a Geforce 4 MX 460, and it got upgraded to a Geforce 4 TI 4200. I was just looking through the settings, and came to MSI Clock, and noticed that they were the same as my other card. I pressed default, and they went up quite a bit, but I stuck them back to what they were, incase I was mistaken, and that was how it was meant to be. When I tried to put them back down, one of them wouldnt go down far enough. Here are my settings: Core Clock: (2D/3D clock) 250Mhz (original) 290Mhz (Lowest setting after clicking default) 350Mhz (default) Memory Clock 446Mhz (original) 551Mhz (default) Since I cannot go back as low as it was, I think the 2D/3D clock was still on my older card. I wouldn't have a clue what the Memory clock is. Is that for the graphics card, or for the system memory? What is the normal clock speed for a G4 Ti 4200? (MSI 8886) What should the settings be on? I don't want to actually overclock anything, but I don't really want to underclock anything. If default is the true default for the board, I will use that, but I don't know if it is some software default, or the actual default of the card. |
