By the time I get this computer I will be in the "bang for my buck range." XP is more compatible than 2k, and I want to be able to use themexp. I'll look at an ASUS cd writer and CD-Rom. I have Nero, but an old version. Also, I'm going to dual boot with mandrake linux. w00t. |

You cannot change the resolution, the colors arent as accurate, and you get trails, even with the new ones I can notice trailing. | Wilky (776) | ||
| 186728 | 2003-10-28 19:31:00 | You mention you don't want a DVD drive, I would highly recommend you get one now as you are building a games machine and new games are starting to come out on DVD instead of CD, Metal gear Solid is one example. In terms of price, it's not much more (esp. when you're considering the system total is over $4000!), and it's a small degree of future proofing...
