186516 2003-10-26 10:15:00 What about Invercargill/Southland area?

Man who only uses 700mb of traffic!! I'm on the last day of our billing month, and I've used 10154mb out of 10240mbs! I'm going to have to make people download like 2gbs a month, then 10x that is 20gb muahaha.

186517 2003-10-26 21:19:00 Invercargill/Southland were winners in that Probe rollout project - courtesy of the govt and Woosh - to give regions with crap internet access the latest and greatest (i.e WiFi).

It's like giving Neanderthals Scud missiles.

Not that I's suggesting Southlanders are Neanderthals....

186518 2003-10-27 00:19:00 lol. So whats the expected date for Invercargill?? Any maps??? I can see why they needed to give southland the broadband, because the farmers were currently on 56k and they practically make the economy. PoWa (203)
186519 2003-10-27 05:29:00 There's another Wireless company part of Counties Power (Reaches Papakura and further south to Pukekohe), Never heard of them before, and I don't think many have heard of them at all. I asked if they were related to Woosh but they are seperate entities, I also asked Woosh if they could use their network but didn't get a reply back yet. Kame (312)
