| 187004 | 2003-10-27 04:14:00 | Hi there Can anyone explain how to ensure that on startup a particular user is loaded by default. At present I have two different users on the system and even if I shut down without logging out, the same user is not reloaded at next startup. I'm running windows98. |

If you create a user account without a password (Or remove the PWD from your account) it should sign them in automatically if you've got Windows Login, or Microsoft Family Login selected by default under your Network Properties. Either that or goto superrsoft.com and get Super Rabbit Magic Set. Ive used that tool to make login MANDATORY with 98 so you can hit Esc or create a new user... Among other things :-) Please note: Dont bother asking me how I did it, I wouldnt have a clue coz I formatted immediately.. I'd removed all users so it wouldnt lemme in at all :-( Hope this helps Chill. |

Men are four: He who knows not and knows not he knows not, he is a fool -- shun him; He who knows not and knows he knows not, he is simple -- teach him; He who knows and knows not he knows, he is asleep -- wake him; He who knows and knows he knows, he is wise -- follow him! - Lady Burton (wife of Sir Richard Francis Burton), given as an Arabian proverb |
