186931 2003-10-27 00:33:00 Any recommendations for a nice simple photo-printing program?! Currently have PhotoRecord – appears to be standard with Canon products but find it very frustrating to use.
Do not require background colour and want to be able to place and size photos – MY way!!
Have tried everyway to get rid of the background colour.
Help – thanks.

186932 2003-10-27 00:43:00 Are you using winxp?...because if you are then you can simply right click a pic file and choose print, this will being up the xp print wizard.

never used it myself, and i only just noticed it the other day but it may be worth using.

186933 2003-10-27 00:45:00 What printer are you using? Are you using PhotRecord to print directly from your camera?

Any editing/viewing program will do as long as your printer is set up correctly. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements, Ifanview oe Imaging, in the main to view and print but results will depend on what settings you choose in the print dialogue.

186935 2003-10-27 01:10:00 Ok. you can get Irfanview here (http://www.irfanview.com/). go to the folder where you've stored your images, open one the choose Thumbnails in the File menu. Irfanview will load thumnails of all the images in the folder. In the thumbnail windows File menu choose Create Contact Sheet From Selected Thumbs, select the desired images and creat the contact sheet then choose print.
