| 186842 | 2003-10-26 20:10:00 | I installed Windows 95, but I had to do it without detecting Plug and Play. Now, somehow I have to get drivers for everything off the internet. I dont even know how to find out what I need drivers for, but here is a start. All these show up in Device Manager, under Other Devices ATAPI CD-ROM DRIVE 32X GENERIC IDE DISK Type 46 HP CD-WRITER+ 9100b and 4 Unknown Devices I did a hardware report on my computer using aida32 bloggsworld.orcon.net.nz The first one is before the fomat, but only a lite report. The second is a complete report after the format. I have a 4mb Creative Graphics card as well. |

| 186843 | 2003-10-26 20:18:00 | It sounds like the 3 devices you've listed are using generic drivers. The unknowns will have to be identified. Only you know what other devices are installed. What was that link supposed to go to - it doesn't work |

| 186851 | 2003-10-27 08:17:00 | you need to download the win 95 motherboard and agp drivers for this board Had a quick look but the msi homepage links to its driver section on this board are dead but you can obtain the manual for your board from here www.msi.com.tw for the rest pull the sound card and modem note the card names or chipset names/designations of them and go hunting |
