187086 2003-10-28 04:57:00 I am firmly an Auto man as well.

I have had my time stirring gears around in a gearbox.

Even my sports car is Auto (Mazda MX5).

187087 2003-10-28 04:59:00 My advice is load the trailer, hook it up and let her rip! If the car starts slowing down you will know the trailer is too heavy Baldy (26)
187088 2003-10-28 05:05:00 No: If the front of the car (front drive?) moves off, and the back doesn't, the load's too great. Graham L (2)

187091 2003-10-28 06:35:00 Thomas you got it wrong the point is..... use someone else's car.....

then it doesnt matter if you brake it... ;)

why bother at all with your car? or better still.... get them to deliver the item.... (if you bought something of course)

or if its a caravan, get a motor home instead...... :p

:D

just full of bright ideas round here T

187093 2003-10-28 07:15:00 Get your wife to drive the car to tow the trailer, then if the car breaks you can blame her?

Thats a variation on beetles method by the way.

So you are really James Bond incognito Thomas. Are you allowed to use the seat ejector button - or do you just limit yourself to firing missiles out the headlights
