2003-10-29 06:22:00 | I seem to be getting lots and lots of popups when looking at my favourite TradeMe website. Some of them have pictures of things not suitable for my son to see. I have homexp and wonder if I can download something for free to block these???

2003-10-29 06:33:00 | You could also try this popup killer and banner advertising preventer, Adiefltr.zip from here: tvsecure.net It is a freeware version, no longer available from the main web site, www.utils32.com The latest version costs about US$19, but the free one works ok.

Firebird from www.mozilla.org Opera from www.opera.com Webwasher is available from here (www.pcworld.com) I presume. Have not tried that program myself but the other two are excellent alternatives to Internet Explorer. I use Firebird myself. :-) |

2003-10-29 07:08:00 | Hi there i use no pops and it works wonders as you add the ads as you go along and it remembers them next itme that site is visted so no more annoying ads and its free on any cd these days! | 3dah (4795) | |
2003-10-29 07:17:00 | There is no need to change your browser. Mozilla Firebird etc are a pain in some aspects. Use a popup stopper instead. I use adsubtract pro, and it is ideal. Bye
