Wow Can't believe it. Telecom is reimbursing me my ISP fees (IHUG even!) after screwing me around with poor lines for ages. I live in the country with bad lines so got the "Ultra" satellite hooked up to decrease to usage of the phone line, got a flash (read "expensive"!) rural modem, slowed the modem down, and still couldn't send a 100kb email file!!! They told me all would be sorted in July and couldn't fulfill their promises. Now they've got fibre optics most of the way into town and are paying up for their crappiness.
Just thought people would like to know they do occassionally "care". |
