AND cant get into my ANZ bank account with Internet Explorer but can get in with Mozilla etc and all other bank accounts with IE6SP1 WotZ 'appening Please?? |

| 187431 | 2003-10-29 02:24:00 | The time when you press F8 is critical. After the self-test, you should briefly see "Booting Windows 98" at the top of the screen. Hit the key then. (Or even an instant before then :D). Too long before then will bring complaints from the BIOS self test. After then will be ignored. The bank problem will be due to security settings. The IExperts will give you the details. ;-) |

| 187432 | 2003-10-29 02:25:00 | Also try holding down left Shift key until the Windows 98 logo appears. This will also put it into Safe Mode. You can hold it down as soon as you turn on the PC to make sure :) |

| 187433 | 2003-10-29 02:33:00 | According to the Windows help file, it is the "Ctrl" key. On some systems it is the F8 key. While windows explorer is open, press the F1 key - it's all there in B & W. Works OK on my W98. Bye |

| 187434 | 2003-10-29 02:40:00 | My key is F8 to get into safe mode. Just keep tapping it as the boot screen flashes its thing and you will get in. Regarding the ANZ site, as far as I can remember it uses javascript to open a separate window and you need to have cookies enabled - check in Internet Explorer's options. Also, I can remember not being able to get in myself due to an adblocking program so if you have one of those you will need to disable it. |
