| 187423 | 2003-10-29 00:58:00 | I tried to tell norton ghost 2003 to backup my computer and copy it to cdrw disc however the program doesn't recognise my cdrw drive. Norton however can make a backup into my 3 hardrives.but not my cdrw drive.The cdrw drive does not appear in the program |

| 187426 | 2003-10-29 03:36:00 | Norton Ghost 2003 is not compatible with all CD-RW's. I found this out the hard way :D. First check whether your CD-RW appears on this list (service1.symantec.com). However, you can still sometimes use drives that are not listed. Next thing to try is this trouble-shooting guide (service1.symantec.com ton%20ghost&ver=2003%20for%20windows%202000/nt/me/98&dtype=∏=Norton%20Ghost&ver=2003%20for%20Windows%202000/NT/Me/98/XP&osv=&osv_lvl=) - especially this section: The CD-R/RW drive does not appear in the list of destination drives On some computers, Ghost may take longer to identify and list the CD-R or CD-RW drive than for other drives in Ghost's Destination Drive window. To be sure this is not the problem, wait five minutes or more for the drive to appear in the list. |
