187594 2003-10-29 08:18:00 use zonealarm and block it then use zoom player as your default viewer like i do kiwibeat (304)
187595 2003-10-29 09:29:00 Hi there,

Media player should not burst into life unprompted. I would suggest checking out your computer for other programs triggering it eg spyware or some other 'helpful' application from the laptops manufacturer for example.
Adaware or spybot might be good applications to start with, both can be found using google.

187598 2003-10-30 20:30:00 rdee....I had a similar problem with acrobat reader doing the same....worked out it was a virus that kept mushrooming ....it cost me to get rid of the problem and I had had spybot installed...have had no problems since...I know how frustrating it must be for you...if it persists get it checked out.
cheers
