188295 2003-11-01 00:22:00 Hi everyone,
I have finally arrived in EnZed, and am staying with the Bald Kilted One from Dunedin - in his Haggis Factory.
Enjoying my stay here, but why oh why is everything upside down, and I am yet to see any kiwi birds - only mangy seagulls. And contrary to what my Australian friend told me, Kiwis do not seem to have sheep as their family pets!
Polly :-)

Welcome to New Zealand.

You don't want to believe anything the sons' of sheep stealers and ewe shaggers tell you.

Cheers

188297 2003-11-01 00:36:00 Hi Polly
There are a few Press F1 people in Dunedin -permanently & temporarily - and although we don't do kiwis, we do a very nice line in Rhododendron Festivals at the moment.
Or you could get the Bald Kilted One to leave the Haggis Factory long enough to take you to the Chinese Dinosaurs Exhibition at Otago Museum this weekend. Quite mind-blowing & their only NZ venue ..
Happy visit..

The wind might blow me kilt up, if I venture into the Rhodo festival in the "windy" Upper Botanical Gardens, Laura!

188303 2003-11-01 02:01:00 Welcome Polly.
Next time there is a full moon take a good hard look, then you will realise you are really are upside down :)

Also be careful you dont get your left hand side confused with your right hand side when you face the direction of the mid-day sun and notice where it will rise and set.

That's one reason why NZ drivers signal a right turn when they technically turn off left at a traffic island.

188304 2003-11-01 02:19:00 Round here the self cancelling indicators are wired to come on only when the turn has been completed jockT (3500)
