2003-10-31 03:12:00 | I am trying to get a floppy disc with a game to play. It says: PROBLEM WITH SHORTCUT The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'Times Tables.Ink' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resourse is available, and then try again. I know the disk is inserted properly, what should I do????

2003-10-31 03:30:00 | Here is a picture (sal.neoburn.net) of the properties of a shortcut. Check the "Target" location and tell us what it is in your case. It would have helped if you mentioned what Operating System version you have. What you see in the image above is for Windows XP

2003-10-31 03:51:00 | When you click on "Find Target" does it go straight to the program's .exe file or does it say it can't be found? | Fire-and-Ice (3910) | |
2003-10-31 03:52:00 | yes it gives me that first message again that I posted. | starfish (3019) | |
2003-10-31 03:53:00 | And what exacly happens when you click "Find Target"? | godfather (25) | |
2003-10-31 03:55:00 | The programme is on the floppy on drive A: . The shortcut is looking for it on the hard drive C:. Explore the floppy. If there is a programme called setup.exe, thjat will probably install it on the hard disk. If there isn't, you could ether just click on the Tables.exe to run it, or right click on it to make a new shrotcut.
