| 188364 | 2003-11-01 21:38:00 | with overclocking it all depends on what your after. sometimes even a small overclock is enough for you to play a certain game at playable frame rates. exspecially with the slower pc's every little bit is usually noticeable. with the p2's....some of the early ones arn't muliplier locked (i just had a 333 running at 500) otherwise you can simply increase the FSB. however if your already running a 100mhz FSB (later p2's) then you may be overclocking the motherboard, ram, agp, pci slots so how well it will go depends on what motherboard and ram you have. |

Very real gains, the virus scanner takes 7 instead of 15 mins to run!! if you've got an inexpensive CPU - make it run! |
