| 188515 | 2003-11-01 23:18:00 | Sony make a lot of different models of digicams, all with varying features. So the answer at this stage is yes or no. Does the manual that came with the camera give any clues? At the least it should tell you the model of the camera, or look on the camera itself to get the model. Also its a matter of which version of Windows you run. |

| 188517 | 2003-11-03 07:27:00 | There is no reference to its use as a webcam that I can find. What does your manual say? The movie mode appears to be 640 x 480 @ 16 fps, and at that resolution you may need a good broadband connection. Could be that the quality is too high for webcam use? I have a digital camera that has 640 x 480 @ 30 fps, but when using it as a webcam it changes to 320 x 240 resolution. If your camera cant go into a low quality mode, perhaps its not able to be used. The camera also needs to have the mode available in setup, and as I don't have that camera, its hard to say if it has. Again the manual would say if its possible. |
