No, I have Microsoft Office installed -- the one you have to pay BIG bucks for. However, like you I have the latest PC World so will install Open Office and have a play with it, just for you. ;-)

> and if you cant help, every one at pf1 will..... right???

No, not everyone. Only those who have it installed and use it. :p :D

189073 2003-11-04 20:30:00 I have Star Office 5.?, which is the same as OpenOffice.

Good program - the only thing I haven't been able to do is set up the email rule to email a document.

Some of the formatting commands are a little bit different from MS product, but not enough to make a difference.

I use MS Office at work and Star Office at home and have no real problems.

189075 2003-11-05 04:33:00 But very, very, very slow to get up and running, at least on my computer. Whereas Office 2000 is quite fast. zqwerty (97)
189076 2003-11-05 06:09:00 The previous Window versions of Open Office were very slow to load. However, the latest release OpenOffice 1.1.0 takes off like a rocket when first opened. Certainly worth upgrading the program just for that. Jen C (20)
189077 2003-11-05 06:46:00 That is the version that I am talking about Ver1.1, just as slow as the last one 1.0 and certainly nowhere near as fast as Word 2000. zqwerty (97)
